Do I need my pool serviced every week?

It’s is very difficult to keep the water balanced if it is not being serviced each week. We aim to provide a clean and safe swimming environment.

Can I just have my kids or a friend take care of the pool?

If your kids or a friend are aware of the dangers of pool chemicals, they understand how to safely apply the chemicals, and they have been properly trained to care of cleaning the pool and maintaining the equipment then they can take care of your pool.

Can I save money by taking care of the pool myself?

In some instances, you can save money. The main factors to consider are:

  • Would your schedule allow you to dedicate a certain time each week to care for your pool?
  • Would you be willing to learn how to test and properly apply chemicals?
  • Do you have a working cleaner or would you be willing to purchase one?
  • Is your equipment correctly sized to fit your pool?
What do I get with weekly pool service?

Chemical-Only Service. 

-Service your pool once per week

-Test and balance water

-Empty skimmers, cleaner bags, and pump baskets. 

-Backwash and add DE as needed (if applicable).

Full Service.

-Chemical only service +

-Clean debris from the surface and bottom of the pool. 

-Brush walls, steps, and entryways.

Do you provide chemicals?

Both chemical-only and full service include the chemicals in the pricing.

Can I choose my service day?

We try to accommodate your needs if we can. We also try to schedule your service into our routes in as an efficient way as possible. Usually, we can agree on something that will work for both parties.

We will schedule a no-cost visit to your pool to discuss your specific needs and price services.

Can I pay you to come teach me how to take care of my pool?

Yes, we do pool schools at your pool. You should prepare for an hour to an hour and a half.

We will cover in detail:  Operating your equipment, Water Chemistry and Balancing, Chemicals you should have on hand, how to properly and safely apply chemicals, how to clean the pool, tools you will need, and caring for the pool itself (Plaster, tile, masking, decking). 

If my pool needs water will you add it?

Keeping your pool full of water is your job only because it may take longer to fill.

Do you carry liability insurance?

Yes we do!

Is filter cleaning included in the pool service price?

No. DE and cartridge filters are recommended to be taken apart and thoroughly cleaned every 6 months. Any broken parts should be replaced at that time.
